Sales and Service Tax (SST) on Auto Reload Fee for ZING Card

Dear Valued ZING Cardholders,

The Government has announced that the SST will be expanded to cover certain financial services, effective 1 July 2025. This phased implementation, as outlined by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (“RMCD”), will apply specifically to financial service providers.

Effective 1 March 2026, the Auto Reload Fee for ZING Card will be subject to Sales and Service Tax (SST) at the rate of 8%.

Key Highlights

• An 8% SST will be applied to the Auto Reload Fee for ZING Card transactions.
• There is no change to the Auto Reload feature itself.
• All other fees and charges remain unchanged, unless stated otherwise.
