Effective 1 January 2023, the Interchange Fee for the card transactions made using Visa or Mastercard network are as follows:
 
 
The current Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) remains unchanged in view of the MDR is corresponding with the reduction of Credit Card Interchange Fee rate.
Kindly refer to the below for more information on the Interchange Fees:
  • Double swiping and storing the card details on transactions made using credit cards, debit cards or prepaid cards are strictly prohibited.
  • Do not impose a minimum amount for transactions made using credit cards, debit cards or prepaid cards.
  • Do not perform surcharging for transactions made using credit cards, debit cards or prepaid cards.
  • AEON Credit Service shall be entitled to immediately terminate the merchant if the merchant is in breach of any of the terms and conditions as stipulated in the Merchant Agreement.
  • Merchant must fully comply with the PCI DSS, as amended from time to time, and any other applicable standards, rules and must complete a self-assessment questionnaire at least once annually and to provide evidence of its compliance with PCI DSS on AEON Credit Service’s request.
