You will see that your account number is embossed on the Credit Card. The validity of the Credit Card is also there to help protect you from unauthorized use should the Credit Card be lost or stolen. Cardmembers in good standing will automatically receive renewal Credit Cards for the next membership period before the “valid through” dates on the Credit Cards are reached.

Caring For Your Aeon Cards

The electronic chip and black magnetic strip on the back of your Credit Card is a sensitive encoding, which requires special care. Below are some of the tips on how to avoid damaging your Credit Cards:

1. Your Credit Card should not be kept in an area where there is a continuous magnetic field. That includes radios and electrical appliances.
2. Don’t leave it on top of your TV set for any length of time.
3. Avoid scratching the chip or magnetic strip.
4. Take care not to place two cards with magnetic strips together, face-to-face.
5. Do not bend Credit Cards.
6. Keep your Credit Card away from heat and direct sunlight eg. Do not leave it in a car parked under the sun.
7. Do not leave your card unattended.

These simple precautions ensure that the information stored will not be affected and your Credit Cards will always be accepted, whenever it is presented.

Supplementary AEON Cards’ Card Membership

Supplementary Cardmembership can be extended to any member of your family over 18 years of age.

Each Principal and Supplementary Credit Card carries a separate account number so in the event of loss or theft, only the affected Credit Card needs Credit Card needs to be cancelled and replaced. The unaffected Credit Cards can continue uninterrupted usage.
