AEON Wallet FAQ
- What is AEON Wallet and Scan & Pay?
AEON Wallet is a virtual electronic wallet created by AEON Credit Service Malaysia (ACSM) that allows you to store payment card(s) electronically in a secured manner on your mobile device or smartphone. This function provides a convenient way for you to make in-store payments at participating merchant outlets.
Scan & Pay is a function from AEON Wallet which allows you to pay via your wallet when you tag the card(s) of your choice when making payment via AEON Wallet (i.e. ACSM Credit Cards or AEON Member Plus Visa Card).
- Who can use AEON Wallet?
Any of our customers can use AEON Wallet by downloading it via Google Play (Android) or Apple Store (iOS) with the conditions below:
- Having an active account for AEON Member Plus Visa Card, Prepaid Card, Credit Card, Easy Payment, Motorcycle Easy Payment, Auto Financing, or Personal Financing.
- Having a valid mobile number and email address for One Time Pin (OTP) verification purpose during set up of AEON Wallet account.
- Maintain an active email account registered with ACSM for E-statement delivery purpose.
- Is AEON Wallet app free to download?
Yes, AEON Wallet app is free to download.
- What device is compatible with AEON Wallet?
Any device is compatible with AEON Wallet as long as you meet the phone requirements as below:
- Android 10.0 and above
- Apple iOS 12.1 and above
- Huawei EMUI 12.0 and above
- Is AEON Wallet safe to be used?
AEON Wallet security features are listed as below:
- No card(s) information are stored in the mobile device.
- You may only register with one mobile device to one AEON Wallet account.
- Real time transaction monitoring.
- Providing 24/7 customer service and app lock.
- How do I register for AEON Wallet?
- Download AEON Wallet app via Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Open AEON Wallet app.
- Click on “Let’s Go” button.
- Enter IC/Passport No and email address.
- Enter 6-digits OTP sent via registered mobile number.
- Create User PIN.
- Confirm User PIN.
- Enable Fingerprint/Face ID access. (This step can be skip for later setup.)
- Account is successfully registered.
- How many accounts can I register?
You may only register one account for each valid ID (Mykad/ Army ID/ Passport). Besides this, each unique registered mobile number can only be linked to one account only.
- Can I log in to my AEON Wallet account upon switching to a new phone?
Yes, you may. Please follow the steps below:
- Download AEON Wallet app on your new phone. Open AEON Wallet app.
- Click on “Let’s Go” button.
- Enter IC/Passport No.
- Click on “Login Now” button.
- Enter Mobile Number and Password.
- Enter 6-digits OTP sent via registered mobile number.
- Create User PIN.
- Confirm User PIN.
- Enable Fingerprint/Face ID access. (This step can be skip for later setup.)
- Account successfully logged in.
- What is Basic Wallet?
As a basic wallet user, you will be able to top up (up to RM200) and access limited wallet features, including scan & pay at AEON stores, collect and redeem AEON Points, and receive refund.
- What is Premium Wallet?
To enjoy Premium Wallet features, user will require to complete eKYC process under his basic wallet account. Upon successful verification, user wallet will be upgraded to a Premium Wallet account.
As a Premium Wallet user, you will be able to top up (up to RM10K). In addition to Basic Wallet features, you will be able to perform fund transfer with other wallet account users.
- What are the differences between Basic Wallet and Premium Wallet?
Basic Wallet has a wallet size of RM200 while Premium Wallet has a wallet size of RM10,000. Besides this, only Premium Wallet users are able to perform fund transfer with other AEON Wallet app users.
